• First you will fill out a detailed questionnaire about your symptoms.
• Then I will take your radial pulse, look at your tongue, and ask you more questions.
• I will give you bodywork if it is appropriate for your condition.
• I will gently insert stainless steel, thread-like, disposable needles into acupuncture points that I choose. You often will not feel the needle going in and it rarely hurts. I am known for my gentle, effective technique.
• You will rest or sleep for twenty to forty minutes feeling rested when you are done.
• I will take the needles out at the end of your treatment and give you herbs or exercises and discuss diet as is appropriate.
