Sarah Baroni
Once upon a time there were two very good friends, Sarah Baroni and Cathy Witkos, who shared similar interests that included creating beautiful jewelry. After college, both girls ended up in San Francisco, spending their days being with a great group of friends, making road trips, tasting wine, biking, running and exploring Northern California. They made lots of jewelry, sometimes with the help of their three roommates, and sold it to local San Francisco galleries. Soon their travels took them, individually, to Belize, Costa Rica, Bali, Thailand, and Vietnam, among other places. On one of these trips Sarah met her husband to be, and they moved to Arcata, California and started Baroni Designs. Not too long after, Cathy joined their team and they have had a successful partnership ever since.

Baroni Designs' philosophy on design is based on an integral balance of colors, shapes, and textures—elegant and fluid, with each stone hand-picked for cut and clarity and Biwa freshwater pearls carefully chosen for their exquisite luster.

Today, Baroni Designs reflects the very ideals that made it happen in the beginning—an appreciation for understated but beautiful sterling silver jewelry, a commitment to quality and integrity, and an appreciation for a fun and enthusiastic staff and group of customers that make it all happen. Sarah and Cathy each have two young kids who inspire them in so many ways and with whom they look forward to bringing on many of their future adventures together.
