Sandra Elizabeth Lewis
The jewelry of designer Sandra Lewis reveals her earliest fascination with natural and organic materials. At age seven, she began collecting shells, rocks and beads on the beaches of Southern California. She has been making jewelry out of found treasures ever since. A collector at heart, her work reflects the inspired combination of precious ancient metals and gemstones.

After completing a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, Sandra studied metalsmithing with Ralph Goldstein at UCLA. Creating pieces that resonate a vibrant, universal and timeless energy, she describes her sensibility as a balance of contradiction. An integration of unlikely textures and colors that incorporate a handmade aesthetic. Her use of gemstones with beautiful, sturdy, hand-forged clasps and hardware, integrate the stones and metal into distinctly unique jewelry. Genuine art for personal adornment.
People who wear Sandra’s creations, tend to collect multiple pieces. The jewelry is designed to stack and layer well with a substantial feel that is not heavy. The timeless sensibility makes one seasons collection compatible with the next. This exemplifies the versatility of this diverse line of gemstone necklaces, bracelets, anklets and earrings in sterling silver.
