Catherine Weitzman draws her inspiration from years of living and working throughout Asia, Africa and Europe.
She spends a lot of time underwater and feels that aquatic environments invariably influence the look of her work. Vivid colors reflect the world seen from beneath the surface to the ocean.
No two pieces of glass jewelry are the same. The Glass is hand cut and fired in a kiln at 1500 degrees. The glass is then etched to give it the look and feel of glass worn by the sea. Each piece is individually set in sterling silver.
